Academic ceremonies

The University’s two major ceremonial occasions are the Conferment of Doctoral Degrees and the Inauguration of New Professors. Other ceremonies at the University of Gothenburg are the presentation of the award for Zealous and Devoted Service to the State, the Retirement Ceremony and the Félix Neubergh Lecture.
